Sports!

Wow!  This is the most neglected blog around.  It’s not that we haven’t been doing anything, it’s that we have.   A lot!  Paige has been in dance class and Carter has been playing soccer.  My little photo business has been busy and the school year ending is taking a lot of Lori’s time up.

Sounds like summer is coming….

Paige had her first softball game today and Carter had his baseball opening day last weekend.  Soccer season also came to an end.  Most of our June will be spent at the ball fields.  Each kids plays about two games a week.  Fortunately their schedules don’t overlap too much so we can make all their games.

First you color the eggs…

Feels more like Summer than Spring right now as the temps have been close to eighty this weekend.  That doesn’t mean we’re going to skip skip Easter, though!

We spent yesterday evening coloring eggs.

Paige takes it pretty seriously.

Tomorrow is Easter. Not sure what our day will be like. Usually we are back at Gram and Pap-pap’s house for the weekend, but this year we held off and aren’t heading there until next weekend. My sister and her family are having Easter at Disney. I’m sure Grammy will pay us a visit, but she’s also going to see the kids tonight.

Whatever happens, I’m sure we’ll enjoy the day!

Sledding into Spring

Geez…I haven’t posted anything since six days before Christmas?

Well, Christmas was cancelled and the kids got no presents.  We didn’t celebrate New Year’s Eve either.

Who am I kidding?  I’m just to lazy to go back and post pictures from that stuff.

Life has been busy.  I’ve been on the road every week but two this year visiting exotic locales like Detroit and Fort Wayne.

The kids are doing good and cruising through school.  Both of them are getting so big.

The weather has finally started to warm up and the snow may be coming to an end for the winter.  We went out sledding last weekend.  Only the second time we went this year.  It was just a really cold and windy winter.  Being outside wasn’t much fun.

Cookies and Presents

Only six days until Christmas.   This week the kids and I got around to wrapping presents for some people on the “Nice List” and then we spent Friday evening baking cookies.  Even Lucy helped!

The kids helped rolling out dough, cutting and decorating.

But the hardest part was the waiting! Always is!
