Backyard Fun

The cold, wet morning gave way to a sunny, pleasant afternoon and we took advantage of it.
We got started with a little soccer practice since we have a game tomorrow.
Then it was off to play in the puddles. Look our ducks are still here. We heard the quacking this morning.
We finally got around to planting seeds for our vegetable garden.
This year we have three kinds of sunflowers, two types of lettuce, sweet white corn and tomatoes.
There was also another new toy added to the yard work collection. Grammy needed her yard edged and didn’t have an edger. Well, now she does…

Do you know what a lawn mower looks like after getting $350 in repairs?
Me either. I told them to trash it and I went and bought a new one.
Of course, as far as the kids were concerned I paid $300 for a new box.
